Just bought the game for Mac OS. steam says the game is launched but its not launching. | Project Zomboid | Page 1

the little icon keeps bobbing up and down like its trying to launch but nothing will show up. ive already tried to verify game files and that did nothing. i already did the administrator account thing too. i just cant get the game to launch and i really want to play so any help would be greatly appreciated

What are the Mac OS specifications / model?

I know that my software is up to date, it on the latest update. I already tried that.

My computer is not the Mac OS laptops, it the 2019 max computer.

I’m assuming you also need the computer specs?

Did you also try running the game in Compatibility Mode?

Could you check if a "Zomboid" folder exists in your Home folder?

As in, you do not see any folders there, or do you not see the specific folder?

In that case, try going to "ProjectZomboid/Content/MacOs" and drag the "javaLauncher" to your Mac Console

Then run it

#

It should give you output with errors if done right

Where should I even be looking for project zomboid? I can’t find it in finder( the file manager for Mac)

It would be the game install folder

You should be able to easily open it through the Steam Library > Right Click the game > Manage > Browse Local Files
