my friend and i are both using a "value tech" walkie, we both have it equipted in our primary slot, i can see that my player is talking because the speaker symbol is above me, but neither one of us can be heard on the frequency.

#

in the screenshot the walkie is turned off but it was on while testing

Voice chat currently has issues with walkie talkies

#

I recommend only using text chat with them

oh also i have an unrelated question. i added an airport and when i teleported to the area it added, there was nothing but woods. on the map i see that theres building and whatnot but theres nothing actually there. Do i have to wipe my world for that to load in?

You write in the local chat with Enter or T

#

Using the /say command

and if i do, can i save the data in a specific area so i dont lose progress in my buildings and whatnot

drowsy hamlet
#

Otherwise the map will not load

finite cape
#

yeah i set it like that in my config

#
Map=RC10YL;KS10YL;SOS10YL;SaveOurStation_KnoxCountry_World;10YL;FortRedstone;BedfordFalls;West;South;North;Muldraugh Military Base;Louisville Military Base;military_base;vehicle_interior;Muldraugh, KY``` is this correct?

okay, can i save the progess made in specific tiles? i dont want to lose all this progress

drowsy hamlet
#

Refer to the bottom of the guide, that is how tiles are saved

#

There are also third party tools mentioned in the comments that may help you delete areas in saves

#

Make a backup before messing with your save first though

im kinda sleep deprived so i need some explanation lol

drowsy hamlet
#

Well that makes it a ton harder

finite cape
#

darn

drowsy hamlet
#

But it is the same as normal, you just have to find the files with the corresponding chunks and back them up

#

Or in reverse, delete everything but them

finite cape
#

okay

The guide explains it how you can calculate it

#

The coordinates that is

#

You cannot use the third party apps to help you with that in this case

#

Unless you download the whole map, then use the tool, then upload it

#

Which might take a while
