#Error while playing in my offline world

Can you post the logs.zip file found in C:\Users\YourUserName\Zomboid
Beard will help you when he's around and have a look at them
Anything from this thread apply to you, @pliant flax ?

Cause that's what you're getting down the bottom there, openGL exception 1283
well I always have opengl problems with software but never with pz
my video card is old
intel hd 2500
weirdly all the errors seem to be pointing at the same "VehicleModelInstance@9597028", though I'm not familiar enough with PZ under the hood to know whether that's a type of car or a specific single one.
btw the game was working fine on my win10 3 months ago
I'm on windows 11 now
Weird.
Well, I'd suggest the usual of making sure your drivers are up to date and everything, but that's probs gonna have to wait for Beard to take a look. Sorry there's not much more I can do.
Thanks, you already did!
I'll play with settings and see if something is causing a problem there
might also be worth trying to boot up a new world, see if that can load successfully (meaning it could be a bugged single instance vehicle) or also crashes (meaning it's likely a more fundamental issue), while you're at it.
sure, I want to try playing on a server too but Idk, all the public ones have passwords.
You mean they all have a locked symbol on them?
No, but when I try to join, I get a password prompt, the join button is grey
That GPU is pretty old, I don't think I'd expect it to work at all with PZ so it's odd that it did run before
Ah yeah, that is there to protect your character
You make that one up to join
Otherwise anyone could just steal your character by using your username
aah, I see
It did work just fine
Any mods btw? Does it not work without any activated on a fresh save?
(sorry just catching up here)
nah no mods just the default installation
with low settings
I never had a problem with mods on this same computer
I tried a new world, same problem, I can move around but the world start glitching ( some input lag too) and then crash
I'll try a multiplayer world now and see
You've tried downgrading and freshly installing the GPU drivers from Intel btw too?
That's one of the fixes I saw, but that was an Intel HD4000
Since you upgraded to W11, maybe something weird's going on there
same problems on multiplayer
well I'm always using the same driver since it's been years the last time they did an update, I think from 2017 or something
But I might try reinstalling again
Update: I tried downgrading and the game didn't even launch, I reinstalled the latest driver again, and I'm back to the same problems
I might try an older version of the game if it's even possible
Based on the logs, it is actually a technological miracle that you were able to run the game on this PC actually
The errors seem mostly texture related, as if the graphics card fails to render them
It does specify the files though which is unusual, I would recommend reinstalling the game just to make sure there are no issues with the files themselves
okay i ll try that, and btw can I also try an older version?
It seems the problem was my gpu, I disabled dynamic skybox and set the lighting quality to lowest and the game is working fine now...
