see when you make a world to host it, you should see edit settings, select your world and then you should see different settings, such as mods, world, character ect, there should be a workshop tab, press that and add the mods you want into it

also for mods like more traits, it automatically adds the mods like remove special traits, just remove them if you want to have special traits ( for example)
