i cant open sprinters while trying to host a world

İm trying to make a server but when i open sprinters it just goes back to fast shamblers why??

i think they are disabled on servers for some reason

you can use a mod to enable them tho

Sprinters on multiplayer servers is strictly advised against as its buggy at the moment. You will most likely end up dying to a glitched sprinter so the developers turned it off until it’s fixed I believe. It’s obtainable with mods still.

Play at ur own risk though sprinters + multiplayer is a no no for now

I haven't had an issue with them, but only have like 5players on at a time and only 5% sprinters

It’s something to do with the latency so I’ve been told. Zombies are as fast as whoever’s latency they’re charging so if another player intervenes or it targets another player after locking onto one it causes issues; most notably sprinters phasing in and out of reality and going invisible until you’re torn to shreds by one of them.

So if you are playing with a bunch of players you know live near you / the dedicated host’s location I don’t see it being that much of an issue; whereas it would be if you were playing with someone across the world
