you have to buy a dedicated server unless there other ways. I used 4netplayers if you don't know ware to find a provider.

all you do is buy the server for the game you are trying to get one for then it will set it all up for you in like 5-10min and then once you get your email that your server ready then you can change password if you like or keep the password they made. after you do that you can turn on advance mode and you can do all your scrips yourself but a easy way to do it is get the mods from steam go on the game host server with your mods on make sure they work then what you can do is go to os or this pc ware ever your game files are then user or ware game files are look for server and click on your servertest and copy it all and past it in your servertest.ini and save or change things before you save then start your server and all your mods should be in there.

get your mods from the workshop then get on the game and go to host and then add your mods and see if they work then after leave the game and go to your zomboid files on your pc and copy them and go back on the site and turn on advance mode ware you can see servertest.ini and highlight what already in there after you ctrl c your files in your zomboid server folder then highlight the files that already in the servertest.ini and just ctrl p to add your files you have.
when you first get on just click on the tab that under Configuration files and go down till you see advance mode then after you turn that on there will be 4 tabs after that but you want to put your stuff in the servertest.ini tab.

Tweak (slightly) as desired
