DAY FIVE:
THE EVENT LINE HAS FALLEN
Earlier today, a chilling photo was released on news channels around the world. It depicts a lone figure, a man with a missing arm, standing alone on a deserted street. This photograph is now considered the first glimpse of the true horror of what has become known as “The Knox Event”. The news is flooded with non-stop coverage of the event, with reports coming in from all over the globe of people falling ill with flu-like symptoms. Quarantine zones are being set up, and the death toll continues to rise.
In an exclusive broadcast by LMBW News Channel, Frank Hemingway interviews a man named Joe who claims to have witnessed the horrors firsthand. “Where have you been, Joe?” asks the reporter. “The military base. Inside Knox,” replies the grizzled man.
“The Army. McGrew’s men. They said it was a quarantine. Then one day we woke up, doors unlocked. Soldiers… gone. But in the main dorm. In the hall… Blood. Blood and… changed people,” says Joe, visibly shaken. “What don’t they want us to know, Joe?” asks Hemingway.
“What you already do know. Like in the photos. The first sickness. It killed. But it didn’t kill enough,” replies Joe. The reporter expresses disbelief, but Joe insists that what he’s saying is true. “They got sick, they went crazy, they died. Then they went for my f***in’ throat. Sorry for the language,” he adds, nervously fidgeting with his fingers.
Despite the reporter’s attempt to calm him down, Joe’s terror is palpable. “That’s okay, Joe. Joe, is it contained? Are you safe here with us?” he asks. “That much is true. The people who changed… they’re trapped behind the Event line. Whatever they are…” replies Joe.
The exclusive report comes to an abrupt end as distant gunfire erupts from the southeast. It’s clear that something terrible is happening at the Event Line - something unimaginable.

DAY SEVEN:
THIS IS HOW YOU DIED
The intercom to the mall was completely hijacked, and no one would be hearing Figgs' heavy breathing through the comms or any music blaring from it again. Oddly, despite this, Mr. Sandman by the Chordettes played one last time before the vinyl sounded like it shattered into tiny pieces.
An unfamiliar voice aired throughout the intercom. The man lacked the sound of an official response, and the silence of the mall was only stifled by any undead that may yet linger behind the shutters.
"Attention to any military personnel. I repeat, military personnel within or around Site Bravo, this is Platoon Commander John S. Bridges. The Commander in Chief has fallen silent. General McGrew is presumed dead, and High Command is no longer issuing orders. We have taken it upon ourselves to cleanse this viral filth from every corner of Knox under a new banner of the LB - Louisville Battalion. To anyone still alive within Site Bravo, the chances of you being free from infection are impossible, and you will be... taken... to other quarantine facilities for examination. This will be the last broadcast. Respect the LB. Obey the LB. Do not fuck with the LB. Commander Bridges out."
Today is the end of our prologue and the beginning of our awesome wipe! Players will finally be let out of the quarantined mall- and finally face the undead threat! Will the military take over? Will they all make it out of the mall? Find out IC in candlelightSunset!

SEASON UPDATE:
It's been only a few months since some of y'all made it out of the Grand Ohio, in the so-called "side folk" have been least of anyone's worries. Soon after the Mall a lotta us went to the remains of another mall quarantine. This here "Site Alpha" to our "Site Bravo", of which just one college kid survived. It was raised in the bell tower of LSU.
Then it all went sideways.
"LSU" became "LSU" versus "Mall Cops", the same rent-a-cop bastards which tormented us at the Grand Ohio. Tensions rised before a truce was proposed at the dinner party hosted at LSU, doubling as their election night. Some election night! That kid now-mayor dosed head rent-a-cop and staged an arrest to truce with LSU and the livin' LVPD. That night somethin' unspeakable happened and by morning head rent-a-cop was dead.
It was war after that.
Boy mayor with his detective deputy now on the run and the rent-a-cops turning the Louahville Expo Center into an unbreachable fortress, the war has yet to determine a clear victor beside the Grim Reaper, 'nall the while some of us can feel somethin' comm' on the horizon- something long and wide and as dark as you can imagine-
Those of us who see it know that when it's here, it's gonna make this war seem like children fighting for the playground```

After 4 months I gotta say this was and most likely still is the best PZ server out there. If you're looking for a serious and actually good experience in PZ and RP, definitely join. I've been in the community only for a couple months and met some of the coolest people and characters
