i have a server running a headless dedicated pz instance and its unjoinable despite me port forwading and i cant figure out how to download mods to it,

its not joinable as is it does not see the server when i try to join it, ive tried using local ip and that doesnt work neither. its hosted on my physical server next to me in my home on my network. i installed it using steamCMD and followed this guide https://pzwiki.net/wiki/Dedicated_Server

Oh i see, I’ll have to try that after work, when the server set up it port forwarded to 16262 so I assumed that was the correct port

You have to port forward both 16261 and 16262
Oh i see, intresting. And once I get that working how do I get mods onto the server? I presume there’s a way other than having to download steam and grab them of the workshop.
I tried to look up a solution but I couldn’t find anything for headless servers

i made sure and both ports 16262 and 16261 are forwarded
ah, bit of an oversight. forgot to allow inbound connections through firewall

If you can join and others can't. It means the server itself is fine
But the ports or connection itself is blocked
Do you have a double Nat perhaps?
