#friend stuck on "getting server info"

when my friend tries to join my game he is stuck at getting server info
I have a bunch of mods installed and my friend has no log file or even a log folder because its a fresh install

what can we do?

1): As this question has been as answered numerous times, if you search through the tech-support questions, there should be some detailed explanation how to fix that.

2): #mod_support as you are using mods, it is the mods, not the game causing the issue.

3): What have you managed to find out so far?

all i managed to find out is that i had to allow my friend but i cant verify if thats the issue because i noticed that on version 41.77

we are now back on build 41.78 and testing

Did you Google anything first, or check on the forums first is what I mean

also i suppose if i port my SP world to MP and it dies with "terminated" after "initializing" then its probably the mods and i have to make a new world?

Doing some Google searching should give you the answer for that as I think that is another common asked thing.

As for your friend not being able to get into your server, your server is not downloading the mods to his side.

You can try disabling all of the mods and seeing if he can join, if he can, then it is the mods.

Then you will beed to work your way through which mods can be causing that issue.

If you have a server box, it should tell you in the log if a mod is failing to download
