Not sure what happened, decided to add mods to my server and then deleted the multiplayer save, but now my partner can't join my server. I still can join it, even through my public IP, but they can't. My firewall is turned off on the server pc, and as stated this server worked just fine before the mods were installed, I am so confused but I don't think any of the mods would interfere with people joining..

Update, I changed uPNP to True and it fixed the issue, but this makes no sense..

Hope someone can clarify, because I had a dedicated server on my client pc as well, but that has uPNP=false but it runs fine and other people can join, but for some reason on my Server PC, it needs uPNP=true, and from what I understand if my port forwarding is done right, I shouldn't need uPNP turned on, which I think it is done right

Have not tried, but before this when I played without mods, I left uPNP on and it worked

Figured I didn't want to change anymore settings so I just left it like that

You do not need UPnP if done right, but its best to leave it enabled in cases that its not done fully right. There are no issues with it being kept on

But there might be issues with it being turned off
