#On a dedi server, how do I make ALL items on the ground disappear after a few hours to help with lag

The option you're looking for is in sandbox settings under the World tab. Relevant options are as follows:

World Item Removal List: delete everything in this field. This field should be completely empty.

Hours for Removal List: set this to whatever time frame you want things to be deleted in (in game hours). For example, if you want everything on the ground to be deleted every 3 game days, you would set this to 72.0

Removal List as Whitelist: enable this option. This means that every item that is not in the "World Item Removal List" will be deleted.

Using the above settings, this would configure your server to delete everything on the ground every 72 game hours. Don't forget to pick up stuff you want to keep, or it will go poof.

Good luck

Recommend NOT switching things around as the list for 'keep X if on the ground' would be extensive....IMO.

You'll want to go through the ITEMS files as I don't think the Wiki+ has everything

Here's my list of 'crap' I wanted cleaned out (alpha., so it's easier to modify). Might help

IMO, there's actual VALID/useful items that would get removed if/when the timer ticked-over. All it takes it to 'forget' or an update made you don't scrutinize...

I tend to be a bit more selective vs. 'nuke it all, BUT...' approach. YMMV 😉

You can just place items you want to keep

Well, it's not just a 'me' thing either. One man's trash == another man's treasure & all that.

Player {X} likes the goofy hats. Don't add 'em in & all loot (non-container) gets cleaned.

I just prefer the more cautious route (& my clean list is more likely smaller than any whitelist)
