The fact that I poured 1000 hours on this server alone makes it worth your curiosity. The stories, the permadeath, the me staff are all great.

This is how you cried. Not a server for the feint of heart, but worth a look if you enjoy what I imagine is a rare combination of a laser focus on roleplay set on a backdrop of some fairly challenging game settings. I could go on and on praising the things that the staff do, but at the end of the day I think our userbase speaks for itself. It's a really great crew of amazing roleplayers. We have everything from an organized militia group highly dedicated to their military roleplay, to a factory based group focused exclusively on crafting munitions, to a crack den that looks just, absolutely amazing in how terrible it is. You really look at it and think "yup, that's a crack den." Because we have players that care. Through ups and downs, so many of the best people have stuck with us.

+ Attentive admins helpful to questions of any type
+ Actively maintained and moderated discord
+ Great rewards for your input, ingame and writing stories out of game, investment is paid back
+ An active playerbase that has a passion for the server
+ Great quality text RP and a wide array of character types
+ Permadeath (like singleplayer) makes even a single Zombie terrifying
+ Absolutely gigantic modlist tailored for the server
+ Tons of well written lore which grounds you in the setting
+ No completely at random, with no reason or drive 'banditry'
+ An actual miracle this many mods are stable on the server. Code wizards.
- Huge modlist can be overwhelming at first, lots of changes
- No custom drip selection on start
- Many new traits are confusing on character creation
- Map has been heavily looted but there are ways to earn money to sell to traders and buy what you want
Probably the best server I've been on in 2100hours of Zomboid, 10/10.

The optics of that foggy event were really great.

So far the blue fog has been my favorite visually. Red one is the best one mechanically (stay inside!) and green one is like a 'default' one where it's really cool to see.
