Would need more info, can anyone else hear him? Does his mic work in other applications? Do you have the deaf trait?

No my charecter has no deaf trait he can hear buildings and cars and stuff but whenever someone with a mic tries talking to me he just looks at me blankly with no noise. Same thing happens to otherd

When others tries talking to me there isn't any noise they just stare

See the voip server settings. What is distance set to ? Did you check your voip settings in game options ?

Can you make sure to go to your Sound Control Panel and make sure your Speakers are set as the Default Device?
