warm roost
my bf and i have had this happen twice now where we spend a few hours clearing out a neighborhood but all of a sudden a huge hoard of zombies surround us out of nowhere. is this normal? we haven't played since maybe february of this year.
the first instance we cleared a few blocks and found an antique oven i wanted to take so we go grab the car and when we come back, a huge number of zombies come out of the trees. we were literally gone for 10s to grab the car.
the second instance we were clearing out another neighborhood to loot the houses, got thru 7 houses and the street was empty. i was in a house and dropped a night stick and gun for him to pick up on the driveway, i run inside the garage and then come out through the garage door, quickly close it behind me and start sprinting down the drive and all of a sudden there's 10 zombies lurching for me from both sides and behind me where the garage was. i was only in the garage a few seconds bc there wasn't much in there. he was in a house across the street so he didn't see it happen himself.
the thing is, my world's respawn hours is set to 0 so zombies shouldn't be respawning and it's definitely not like we don't go around the back of the houses to check for zombies. i didn't actually witness the first event myself as i was one house down but the second one, there were no zombies as i came out but in a split second they were everywhere. not really sure if this is supposed to happen?
