#Hosting Multiplayer Server Stuck at Getting Server Info

Try going to

  1. Steam>Workshop>Your files>Subscribed items>Unsubscribe from all.
  2. Wipe the mod folder from C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\108600
  3. Then go to Steam Library> Project zomboid> Properties> Local files> Verify.
  4. Restart Steam.
  5. Remove old server leftovers in User/Zomboid/ Server and Saves/Multiplayer.
  6. Start a new server

Are you able to play in SP? Also are you able to join a public server?

yes i can play them without problem 😭 , just now me and my friend trying to make mp server but stuck at getting server info for about 35 minutes, after i abort the server the game say server has stopped during launch normal termination 🥲

Have you tried using the guide in the FAQ to host a dedicated server instead?

i haven't tried it yet 😅 , does dedicated server is more lighter burden for the laptop?

The burden is about the same, though it is generally more stable
