Not hate, nor criticism. I would like to say I would not suggest this for new players or those who want to simply chill out on the game. Every step of the way is terrifyingly fun to see what would happen to you next. In short words fun for those who want a challenge but not so much for those who want to chill around.

Really recommend this server if you're looking for a hard, but still grounded experience. Balanced amount of mods while not being excessive or overwhelming and all loot that you find feels important. The world really feels desolate and gives you that post-apoc vibe, too.

This server has changed project zomboid for me to the ultimate survival experience in the zombie apocalypse, what I've been looking for all my life.
10 years later after the outbreak scenario where nature slowly claims back the land, alongside with the barricaded world mod, and other carefully selected tile textures, provide a really eerie atmosphere, and the scarcity of loot gives you the impression of a truly post-apocalyptic feeling.
Pitch black nights and cold temperatures tests your survival instincts.
During daytime sprinters roam the land, leading huge hordes of infected to your way. Only the best ones dare to venture while the sun is out.
At night you're safer, zombies are less active and slower, but be aware, you're not the only one who takes the advantage of the darkness.
You must live off the land like a real "nomad", or you'll starve to death... unless you're a "raider", who steals other people's hard earned stuff. It's up to you, what kind of person you'd like to be.
The admins, and the owner itself, making sure to keep you on your toes, also providing random scenarios with the appropriate rewards upon completion.
These guys are fantastic and helpful,almost always available.
There is a storyline on the server, you must discover documents to get to know more about it.
I rate this server: 10/10

This is the game(server) for above avarage Zomboid player, who seeks challenge in daily basis gameplay. It has it's tweaks for gameplay fulfillment and least to mention, this now feels like You've woken up from a couple years of koma sleep. After most of survivors lifelong work and scavenge on the map during Your koma - it's now survival time for Yourself. You can get lucky spotting a survivor zombie, with a so needed kit, which gives a push for Your own survival story.
If You still read this - do not hesitate! Hop on in and enjoy the ride of Easy Peasy Viking's masterpiece of the genre. You are the story!

I am an experienced Zomboid player and played on several servers, this is why I think Final Days is absolute star among other great servers:

  • Constant Developing. - Yes, here Your opinion counts and mods are constantly been changed, new features added
  • Events and Lore - On this server a lot happens, sometimes it's hard to keep track of it (join Discord or miss it)
  • Friendly people and admins - no one is shunned, ask and You will be aided
  • It still is the hardest difficult PZ experience - not for the beginners, not for the faint hearten
  • PvP is on, You will get robbed, You will die - frendly (accidental) fire or unfriendly: be careful and trust no one and read rules 😄

The best thing about this server:
FULL of player made bases, outposts and ... zombies. Forget about conventional looting - there is no loot in towns. Everything is on zombies and hidden bases for you to discover.

How would a new player even get their bearings on this server? no loot in towns, and poor farming and nature abundance are great for early players that had the chance to loot urban areas. It seems like impossible rather than hardcore

This is one of the best (and hardest) multiplayer server's in Project Zomboid. I'd highly recommend it if you love long term persistent servers which are challenging yet active. There are also server events, new locations and a developing story which makes this server unique. 10/10 will die again.
