and the reaper is scary enough that landing on shields is okay since 2k damage is no joke against most targets
a tactic you can do is fire your reaper early and pop AAF so the AI is too scared to turn down it's shield and get an easy overload

the only hullmods you need at that point is armor, repairs and maybe insulated engines incase you run into EMP
