the intent behind how the shields are balanced is clear, you should always be vulnerable to being bursted down which is good

it encourages people to rush and press their advantage instead of playing passively

but that's out of the window when you can peek for free

combine that with a weapon whose whole identity is bursting people down from a corner

shotgun and 3rd person just does not mix. but ttk has to be fast since medium ttk will be unbearable in an extraction shooter
