I get that it's realistic that they can hear you smashing a zombies skull with a hammer against the floor above them, but it gets tiring and makes the buildings feel so small. You have to clear two floors worth of of zeds to clear one floor.

Like I have their hearing and memory set to poor and there's an extra floor of empty space between so it's technically two floors in game terms. And they'll still start climbing the stairwells and banging on the doors.

I'm trying to figure out what I need to do to play it docked at 1080p and it's defaulted to 720p without any ability to actually change to the resolution when selected (native linux) so i tried running it through proton experimental and added the -w 1920 -h 1080 launch commands. I know I could just go through desktop mode but I'd prefer to figure this out in game mode if anyone has suggestions

Just in case anyone does have my issue and searches for it, what fixed it for me was rediscovering the properties > general > Game Resolution and not just setting the resulting to 1920x1080 but also enabling the ‘set resolution for internal and external display’ and now I’m able to run it docked at 1080p in gaming mode
