Yup. A mod for Fallout 4 that fixed broken aspects of the game also broke heads in the game. So NPC's had headless bodies.

Was super funny for a couple weeks while the modding community repaired that.

Short version: Bethesda rolled out an update, but it broke the heads of about 200 NPC's and gave them generic placeholder heads. Modders fixed it, but the solution ended up clashing with engine code, causing TONS of other NPC's to have their heads vanish.

So another mod fixed that.

but, we got a couple servers in mind for this. Most likely, a single town(Muldraugh) walled off from zombies, with darkrp style gameplay loops and infinite shops and utilities. Leave town to go scavenge weapons, tools, car parts, etc. Bring them back for cash. No food or gas anywhere besides Muldraugh. Could make it for a while with a generator and freezer, but you're fueling the generator off of fuel from Muldraugh.

to my understanding, the best quality npc mod that exists is singleplayer, and we'd like this running on my dedicated server. That said, he is going through multiple mods, including that one, to better understand how they work.
Also the seaside mod looks cool. Definitely not big enough though. We want a world where everyone is paying rent/taxes for their own house/trailer/apartment/hotel room. We also gotta figure out how to turn on utilities for just that town.
