Same with Cyberpunk. There is a panel under the window of V's apartment that was eating up 500 mb of VRAM when the game first launched. it took them ONE YEAR to patch that out. Literally a half GB of your graphics because of an object you never saw

Bethesda is horrible at texure compression. They compressed textures in skyrim to save memory. makes sense. Then un-compressed them, ran them through a third compression that broke textures and tried it AGAIN.

End result: Textures in Skyrim are using drouble to QUAD-DRUPLE the actual resources they need. Hence you stutter when you walk over the bridge in Riverwood. there are 720 resolution stone textures eating up the same resources as a 4K game.

Updates every 6 months or so. Your PC slows down and performs badly many times because BIOS is out-dated.

highly recommend you update. It's safe. Everyone should do it once a year if you game.
