that was a simplified scenario... you have to consider the surface type of the 500 yards distance to determine the best type of haulers, how long it will take the hauler to make a round trip, how long it takes to load a hauler, how long it takes to dump a hauler, same with the diggers / loaders (if they aren't combined), surface type will determine tracks or tires, if the distance is short enough it might be better to forgo haulers and just have the diggers do the hauling.
