Moddind Cyberpunk breaks normal "modding rules". Mods are loaded in a specific alpha-numeric order. So mod "Apple" loads before mod "apple" and "1Apple" loads before all other apple mods.

Vortex, Mod Organizer 2 and even manually installing mods can NOT fix this. It requries manually re-naming archives you install, using Archive Checker, or installing the specific Cyberpunk plug in into MO2 / Vortex.

Load Order is also REVERSED.

Theres even an entire building next to H10 that the devs plopped into the game the week before launch. specifically to remove/hide things they could not optimize. it's the lowest resolution structure in the entire game and serves no purpose but to block your ability to see far off objects.

A mod removes that building, allowing you to see more of downtown, and gets rid of the low-rez ugly ass building that serves zero purpose

Digging into CP77 stuff gets deep. Cause you can find a crap load of rushed and half-baked things tossed in that breaks mroe than they fix.

Trying to mod CP year 1 was so painful, I just could not find the desire to stick to it.

yeah Red Engine is just broken...

it's why script extenders and add-ons have to be forced into it (all those "core mods" like Codeware).

V does not even have are real skeleton, which is why third person perspective is impossible in the base game engine.

NPC's all share common data.... all kinds of rookie mistakes that break fundamentals of a game engine.

Also not kidding. You have to buy all 1st party add ons like $100 charging docks, $70 controllers, etc. and games are 80 bucks with online subscriptions required to play by both players. It's insanely more expensive than most people realize

RDO is still super fun tho. Use lobby manager and you can play with jsut friends and avoid hackers, or mod the hell out of it and go nuts with friends.

PC will be the way to go anyway, cause modding tools are going to exist. So people can make entire GTA stories, worlds, missions, etc. etc. The road map is set to keep the game running for 10+ years.

Todd howard said that about Space Skyrim, but never actually built the foundation. Rockstar built the foudnation first. They 100% intend to make GTA 6 their proprietary game for the next 10 years or more.
