Honestly maxxed out PZ characters are only a few steps below demigods in terms of ability, so really the biggest concern would be the existential crisis after having been transplanted from an isometric world to a 3-dimensional one

Basically, you, the player, set orders (Certain things need to be made at a given workstation, if the colony has less than a given number of medicine for example, the workstation orders more to be made) Or building structures or planting/harvesting crops

Colonists that are assigned to given tasks will get to these tasks in either a preset order, or you can manually tailor each colonists priorities

If a colonist is tired, they'll sleep, if they're hungry, they'll eat, and if they're bored they'll do whatever activity they would find the most enjoyable. (With Royalty they can also meditate if their psyfocus (Mana) is below the threshold you set) Otherwise they'll carry out the work according to the priority I mentioned in the above paragraph
