If you can, launching debug mode and make sure the box that says break upon error is clicked. The game should freeze and pop up screen that tells you where the errors are coming from.

Yeah, debug mode is really useful for at least identifying where in the code the game is crashing or having issues.
Then you can copy and paste that to someone to look at.
For example, if the game crashes and says something like hello Kitty watch? Something with your hello Kitty watch is potentially the culprit

1- Apocolypse alters zombie behavior and combat slightly, making combat HARDER. So survival is more about hiding and sheltering as you level up.
1- Survival mode is more lenient with combat, gun use, etc. so it intended to he more combat heavy
