I am relatively new to the game, tons and tons of failed attempts at making it passed life and living days, i have about 67 hours total play time. I know a fair bit but I still have so much to learn because in those 67 hours I haven’t made it passed day 10-15 very often.
I have several questions about long term survivals.
I am thinking about a rural strategy out by the ranger station. My main concern I am worried about now that consistently get characters passed the first 15 days is food preservation out in the wild.
Should I drag out gas station freezers out into a cabin and power them by generator 24/7 all year round or can I build crates and leave them outdoors in winter and the food will freeze? Also big question does water in rain collectors freeze in winter?

there is a whole group on youtube and twitch that fill the bill perfectly of people that should lose any and all popularity immediately. the big ones on the list for me are most major streamers that provide little to no actual content. i don't know why they are popular. and big hypocrites like hasam, asmond, pokimane, etc etc etc. #1 hasan hater here. i don't care about much of the political stuff besides the point he acts like he feels for the poor (asmond and pokimane i think are guilty of this too?) yet is part of the "rich people" they oh so much hate lol. that bothers me. the very same crocodile tears that the top "1%" give. it's stupid. we shouldn't look up to ANY of these people talking about how the poor people are taken advantage of. we should have our own people rise and speak up.
