It’s a way to connect to a server. You know if you were using it because a red bar with pop-up at the bottom of your screen telling you that you’re using an unreliable connection and performance issues will occur.

Then it’s something related to the Internet connection between you and the server. That’s really just it.

The only other things that would kick you off, the server would be triggering the anti-cheat, but whoever runs the server is the person that would determine that

Default settings will automatically disconnect you if you’re ping It’s 400 or more. And a spike for a half second is sometimes enough to trigger that automatic disconnect.

couple things to check:

1- protected folder access. Make sure Windows is not blocking access to the folders. Windows will block a lot of games and game launchers like rockstar by default. You have to manually authorize those.

2- check your latency.

3- do an Internet speed check to make sure everything‘s running fine.

4- port forwarding. Check those. Comcast actually has an automatic feature for Minecraft servers
