Look up the mod crafting lag fix.

More MODS however, just bring the lag back tho, cause the fix only applies to vanilla crafting items.

Technical details as to why it lags is on the mod page as well. It’s nerd speak, but basically the game looks at ALL items everywhere, then cross references them, then looks them up another few times just for good measure.

So instead of looking up “rag” it looks at all 20,000 items. That causes lag.

Driving lag is due to internet latency. Cars update every couple of minutes so if you are jittery, you have bad ping and/or latency.

If on wifi? Switching to ethernet fixes this 90% of the time.

You can confirm WHO has shit internet based on who is in the driver seat. If you drive and stutter, YOUR connection to the server is lagging. If your friend drives and jitters, HIS connection to the server is laggy.

Lag from players joining is due to a spike in load times and zone checks. Server needs more RAM and players need better Internet to reduce/stop this

Absolutely worth it. And like you were told before there’s a lot of configuration that can be done.

It can be configured to write the xp from watching shows or passive skills (fitness, strength) onto the journal, you can set it to not recover the full xp, you can set it to only be able to be read once, and quite a few more other options I’m not remembering
