Twice now (you'll see these on video if you are watching my playlist) I've had it happen where I cannot do anything. It happens randomly, but all buttons just fail to work, even ESC. I have to ALT+F4 out of the game and reload to restore operation. I'm not sure how to replicate this, and since I cannot press any buttons, there's no way to use the in-game report feature.

This is caused by reperated exceptions happening inside the game code. I am getting reports of these and actively fixing all of these once they arrive.

Sorry to necro, but I just downloaded the release and this bug is present here as well. The game loaded my playtest save, and as soon as I loaded a new blueprint disk into the printer I lost all keyboard input except for movement.

you might need to disable cloud saves on steam as well for the full game and then open the game again
Playtest saves are unfortunately not compatible

This just happened to me too - in my case I built a storage drone platform nearby to a mining drone platform, both T2.
i decided i wanted to move the storage platform and i forgot i could just use the move commands, so instead i deconstructed it. I suppose i was standing close enough to the mining drone platform that as soon as i deconstructed the storage drone platform it got highlighted. I ran forward to pick up the dropped items from deconstructing the storage drone platform, but my highlight has stayed on the mining drone platform, no matter how far away i run it stays highlighted, and the prompts say e to deactivate drone platform q to switch build menu actions.
neither button does anything, and moving to another machine does not change the highlight. I also do not seem to charge when beside the proximity charger when this is happening, but im also not losing any power. (display says 68, 7 bars visible on pack)
also cannot jump or activate flashlight or anything.
