floaters are the units you run in slot 3
the ones separated by a + are the units you keep in slots 1 and 2

also the order of units when you build the team doesn't matter outside of the leader slot

a few things
first is the ability for a character to be able to be good defensively in slot 1, generally this means the character has enough defense to tank reliably without needing to atk before the enemy does, both the int ssj4s and agl ssj4 gogeta can fulfill this
second is how well your units in slot 1 and 2 link, the int ssj4s and agl gogeta share 6 links together which give them a lot of stats and ki
