Transition advice?

I don't realy know who to ask about this so I've come to discord (since I know their ar prob alot of other trans ppl on this server)

I'm transmasc/non-binary (still trying to figure it out) and honestly I don't know what I'm doing

Does anyone have any advice for coming out to family, my dad has already said he's accepting of trans ppl but I'm still nervous.
(Or story's of when they came out.)

I'm also thinking about changing my name and was wandering how other people chose the right name for them cause I'm realy indecisive and don't want to change my name layer and confuse everyone so I'm just nervous to get ppl to call me by somthing else.
(I'm thinking Wren, Robin or Ari?)

my usual general is a text before you leave for somewhere like school, thats what i did as i know my parents (especially my mother) say things without thinking, this way people are able to think about things before texting

honestly? only way to figure yourself out is to experiment

if you want more of a process try writing down everything you could identify with and trial each one for a week or two

i did this but the opposite, i stayed over at a friends house and texted my dad at like midnight so i didn’t have to see him until he had slept on it lmao

Like i have always felt more fem and wanna be fem but cant like fully do it and like fully be fem but cant do it because im scared to come out so like idk its hard to explain sorry
