yeah as Mystic said, shading by adding slightly darker colours can help with the mask looking more 3D, also with the otter ears, paint the inside of the ear a darker brown as if you look at photos of otter, the inner ear fur is darker
Oh gosh yeah, I'm gonna be doing that soon tysm! Any more advice is appreciated, I'm gonna try that out in a bit! Thank you both /gen
On camera it looks kinda bad but it looks a little better, any tips on making it look great? Thanks 
It's ment to be an otter, I'm gonna keep colouring the brown till it gets dark enough to be right

Yeah, I think it should be a little darker if its an otter but honestly it defo looks less flat now! = D
I think he looks alright now, should probably add a bit of fur tho but I'm putting it down for now so I can clean
