When creating a team it adds your team name to a list called {teams::} but after that when disbanding the same team it says that {teams::} isnt set

some of your variables are backwards, and you should always use lists:
set {%player%.teams.in.team} to false -> set {isInTeam::%player's UUID%} to false
you want the player on the right side so they are used as indices
also, if you have a variable that tracks what team a player is in, you can you that in place of this. Just {} is set. if it is, they are in a team.
