#Did I do anything wrong? set ... to last ... char of ... not goes "<none>"

set {_color2} to last 5 character of {_color}
message "%{_color}%%{_color2}%"

message output of {_color} works but {_color2} go "<none>"

but there's no error occured.

btw output of {_color} is "Argb:[000xFF<only want this word>]"

and I want to filter everything out except the "<only want this word>" any better ways to do that please?
