i dont think its this because there was nothing to click on and no cursor
but it has the darkening of the screen like its an inventory

Definitely a resourcepack. If you need to sneak to exit, that could also imply you are on something

my cammera is locked but there is no cursur
im fairly certain it is a title of sorts at this point
it can not be gui since no cursor as you said
it can not be display entity since you can not see your crosshair
and you can see "crouch to exit" which implies they make you ride something to stop you moving around xd
