hey! im new to skript! does anyone know how to launch the player in the direction theyre facing only horizontally? (they face a direction and are launched horizontally in that direction to the degree, but the vertical the of launch is constant)
"push player in horizontal direction of player with speed x" only seemed to do this per 45 degree angle... i think?

I have made dozens of combat abilities and have used the push effect so many times, I don't see a reason it shouldn't work

If that doesn't work for some reason, you can do something similar to what x8ight said:
push player (vector from yaw (yaw of player) and pitch 0) at speed x

I made a mistake with the parentheses fixed it now
Pretty self explanatory code just launches the player at a vector from their horizontal facing (their yaw) and straight forward (0 pitch)

Yea you mighr wanna uninstall the ones u don't need or the abandoned/outdated ones cuz they can mess with your code
