would it be possible to manipulate the player's breaking speed of a block based on a variable?

empty marten
#

is there an attribute for it

old spire
#

because the variable can be affected by mulitple sources

empty marten
#

so simply change the block breaking speed to the variable?

#

And update the variable from the several sources

old spire
#

this error comes up whenever I try to do that

#

in any way

empty marten
#

ok what’s your code

old spire
#
if name of player's held item contains "&fEndstone Pickaxe":
set break speed for player to 2
send "Break Speed: %break speed for player%" to player```

idk

#

what else should I use

#

cause on player block break

#

wouldn't work cause that's after the thing

empty marten
#

on mine: maybe

#

Also your not using the attribute

#

Read the attribute

#

That I circled

#

That’s the block mining speed

old spire
#

how would I use an attribute

empty marten
#

There’s also this

empty marten
#

try set player’s block break speed attribute to 100

#

See if it errors

#

Also you might need to use the other attribute

#

I don’t know the difference between them

Look around a bit more

#

Search attribute

#

Filter for skbee and skript

#

And you will find tons of stuff

#

You can also ask in skript-help-2

#

But I’m going to bed
