#SkQuery Compatibility?

I wanted to add SkQuery to my Minehut server to play around with custom crafting.

I am using the most recent stable Skript 2.6.4 and SkQuery-4.1.8 which seems to me should be compatible (Query4.1.7 was listed as updated for Skript-2.6.3 on the Github and I tried those as well).

I am getting this message when I start my server:
[00:46:06 INFO]: [SkQuery] Enabling SkQuery v4.1.8
[00:46:06 ERROR]: Error occurred while enabling SkQuery v4.1.8 (Is it up to date?)

Any ideas what may be causing this?

UPDATE: just noticed a handful of "Issues" submitted to the SkQUery Github for this. Anyone know a workaround?

I found today that SkBee has recipes as well so I'm going to try that one. It's been a few years since I messed with Skript, is SkQuery not a main addon anymore? Recall it being very popular before.
