Avoid charging in a straight line at large groups of humans
Play cryo. Hawk tuah on the enemy from afar and be annoying
Tyrants:
Each tyrant has a special role with their roars:
Rex = Damage buff, Spino = Armour buff Acro = Health replenishment
Survivability with tyrants relies on patience, if you rush in to a crowd of humans, you will likely die. If you use cover strategically and wait for teammate + apply roar (if its ready), then you'll do much better and you will save a lot of health. You can also use CTRL to brace, this will make hits do less damage to you but you do lose stamina gradually per hit.
Hunters:
These are Novas and Ovis, they both can pounce with press or hold RMB. They don't have as much health as tyrants so they rely on cover more. Attacking from blind spots is the best ways to get kills with them. Do not attack many humans at once, just focus on one.
Novas roar ability lets you bite faster, letting you kill more humans, but it does take away stamina each bite. Ovi roar ability lets you see humans and nearby traps or mines place by humans.
Flyers:
These are Pteras and Tupas. Ptera lets you grab and peck enemies during flight by using RMB, carrying humans also drains stamina gradually. Tupa lets you ram enemies during flight, you can also ground slam knocking back enemies if aimed correctly, using this ability right on target lets you 1 shot humans.
Both classes let you highlight enemies for the team, but Tupas roar activity lasts slightly shorter than Pteras. You can also drop using R, letting you freefall. Try flying low because you will get shot down by snipers if you fly too high.
Spitters:
These are Dilos and Cryos, Dilo does poison damage with bite, however Cryo doesn't have poison bite. Both classes can also spit using RMB, Dilo lets you spit poison that drains humans stamina and Cryo does acid spit that damages enemies standing in its radius, when landing a hit as cryo on a human, you'll inflict massive damage. Both roar abilities replenish your stamina. Avoid using them in the open since you will get picked off when humans see your spit.
Bruisers:
These are Carnos, Ceratos and Pachys. Each class lets you ram into enemies inflicting moderate to heavy damage. With a secondary attack for Carno and Cerato and Carnos being head swipe, inflicting moderate damage while walk or stationary and Ceratos being tail swipe, inflicting moderate to high damage. Pachy does not have secondary buy you can quickly change direction using ALT while running.
Carnos roar lets you replenish health each time you charge into an enemy, Ceratos roar lets you steal stamina from humans, and Pachys roar makes you go faster with greater knockback in exchange of damage.
General tips for success:
- Use cover often.
- Use your roar abilities, some can help teammates.
- Attack distracted targets.
- Avoid fighting head on unless you have health to spare.
Hope this helps.
This is the single thing i can do to help my mates, blinding enemies and extinguishing the fire from other dinos
Yea missed some stuff but you get the idea XD
Like 2 days ago i learned how to use tupas and ground slam is the best when humans are stacked in a small area, with ptera i suck because i can't understand when to press RMB to pick humans and if i finally pick them i get killed instantly or lose stamina in like 3 seconds after picking him up
I made screenshots so i can read your message when i get into dino team
either you just simply lose stam or you get shot by humans making you drop the human you've grabbed. either way you should save up stamina before grabbing and find some cover immediately after picking someone so you don't get shot.
On some maps which have bridges over abyss i love trying my best to hit enemies with tupas and make the fall but it's so annoying when sniper gets me with every shot...
scientists are the only problem for flyers, not much that can be done about it, but you can dodge bullets, it just takes practice and some awareness/skill.
Right now i took a pause and i came back to say "thank you" for the best advice, flying low was the best choice ever, 12 kills with tupas only, i never had 12 kills with dino🤩🤩
