Cerato feels generally alright but as a “heavy brawler” it accelerates very fast allowing it to easily do 3 shot combos with ram, if you manage to avoid the combo the cerato can almost instantly accelerate and get you back in the combo, players won’t use the roar because it prevents from doing the ram combo making the roar just an escape tool, reducing acceleration will make the ram combo less effective encouraging people to use the roar for combat, it just doesn’t fit the “heavy brawler” title if the “heavy brawler” can accelerate faster than it looks like it can, if you haven’t noticed already cerato is consistently around the top of the scoreboard because of the high kills and low deaths noticeably using less effort than other classes, when reducing the acceleration of cerato 20% reduction in acceleration could be the starting point and testing around there or whatever feels suitable for it.

Acceleration speed has barely anything to do with brawling unless you’re ramming someone
like idk, maybe make roar bite better something, than just making the acceleration worse, making it harder to make precise movements to a human
Takes half your stam in 1 bite, reducing acceleration will encourage to use roar as you can’t accelerate as fast so draining the humans stamina will help you

the combo is good because it's fast. It takes more time to get 2-3 bites in
It really doesn’t for a 3 hit combo, all you do is bite, tail and bite again
I agree with the suggestion as cera is already pretty good and the ram acceleration just lets it win despite making multiple mistakes
ngl I think bruisers shouldn't be treat like 1v1able light classes so I think bruisers should have an upper hand. Making the kills harder to get just would make it go back to the 1v1 duelist playstyle it did way back
Feels pretty unfair to play perfectly against one then it just combos you with ram and insta wins, I’d keep roared acceleration unchanged
I find cera’s current acceleration encourages 1v1s as it because it gives the cera such a large advantage
Well they should win in 1v1s because is deadly but cerato is a brawler meant to be fighting in groups of humans
Currently having a major advantage in 1v1s that doesnt translate to group fights just encourages the 1v1 assassin cera playstyle
it might even be a problem with roar bite
with the roar boost you lose a really useful tool for your combos to start the kill siphon brawl. Sure you can take down their stam quicker but having 110 damage is better than having 100 spread out at a longer amount of time

wouldn't really make people use roar bite more, it'd just make cerato just not as good
I mean it already outclasses everything other than like carno and tyrants so its not like its particularly underpowered
If you’re slow and you have a tool that can remove humans whole stam in 2 bites making them VERY slow how will that not make people use it more?
still, compared to unbuffed, roar boost is underwhelming because you lose a sizeable chunk of dps
