i am still of the opinion that the trappers Submachine guns are still invalidating the need to use weapons like the Pump, Spaz, and imo probably better than commandos primaries in most combat scenarios

im okay with the smgs doing the damage they do and im okay with its recoil and accuracy, but maybe if you slowed down their rate of fire a bit it might make them a bit fairer to face against

if its fire rate ever got slowed make sure its not too slow. wouldnt want them to be pointless becus they r incredibly fun

the trapper doesn't have shotguns. i don't see the problem.

SMGs range is similar to shotgun range anyways lol, I'd argue the DB has a longer effective range

but the trapper doesn't have shotguns. if someone wants to play trapper, this is a non issue. different playstyles exist as different classes primarily. i don't think the SMGs outclass literally everything else available.

One issue with them is that they give trapper comparable dps to commando and pathfinder with better or reasonably similar ranges while also giving you access to trappers utility, it also gives trapper a lot of versatility against all classes compared to when he uses colts. However I’d say the main issue is that since colts got a range nerf smgs are just the better choice the vast majority of the time while also being noticeably easier to use

I haven't gotten to use them yet, but weren't smg nerfed akready with fallof and spread?
