I seem to remember this being changed a while ago, and the game has definitely been worse off for it. So, so many times I have spawned in right next to tyrants or a bunch of dinosaurs that kill me immediately, or spawned so far from other humans that I just get picked off trying to get to company, or been feeding as a dino and had humans spawn in right there. There really needs to be a change to the spawning algorithm to make this less frustrating, because right now there are so many occasions where I feel I've been immediately doomed by my spawns. I understand difficulties with smaller maps like Transfer, but most maps have ample space to avoid spawning humans in the ass of a Spinosaurus - and are also big enough that spawning you far from your team is quite possibly a death sentence. It would make such a difference if humans could just spawn with their teammates more consistently, and especially that they weren't allowed to spawn anywhere near any dinosaurs.

I like this since they'd spawn apart from eachother's teams. Biggest issue before was you'd be a Tyrant after one human and then all of a sudden his team spawns around you then you'd be outnumbered
When you try to heal but a human spawns next to you
not sure if it's still there but there is a weighting in dino spawns to place them closer to tyrants so they're likely to feel the benefits of their roars. if that's still a thing we could remove it.
It's moreso humans spawning next to tyrants that's problematic

be eating at a corpse a bit late and my team goes to other side of map and humans spawn on me

i wish spawn weights were changed so some less used areas of the map were used more
like humans straight up dont spawn on one side of waterlogged and thats the side thats arguably more interesting than the other side
maybe would freshen up gameplay as humans tend to not move far from where they spawn
I mean, Waterlogged is a whole other issue entirely
But yeah, spawns definitely need work, so many times I've died simply because the game spawned me into a scenario I can't win

should not be possible. tyrants are told to spawn as far away from humans as possible.
a spawn point with a tyrant on it would probably be negatively rated by the system if you're a human, would refuse to put you there.
there's plenty of spawns, i don't get why the system is bugging out.
at the end of the day these are pretty small maps, and if you're on a 32 player server you'll end up seeing this more.
This is why we should remove 32 players
I think I might not have been clear enough with my wording, I mean spawning in as a human and being really close to a tyrant. Tyrant has already spawned in and is running around, humans are spawning in nearby and alone as easy snacks. Happened plenty of times to me

Imo this game is best for 16 players at maximum on a single server.

16 means 8 per team, how are you going to fit tyrants and bruisers in that
24 is also how much a gift can give, which makes it feel like that was an intentional number
