I don't think Carno needs such a strong buff to its mobility, it would just make it annoying to go up against

50/50 on it, I woulda liked this a few years back but I’d only want this if it was on a heavy cooldown or Carno was nerfed in another spot to compensate for this
jump turning already kind of does all the quick turning one might need
Yeah. At most, I'd want a drift that allows you to turn 90 degrees at most, just for getting in and out of areas, rather than what Pachy has which can be used during combat to circle back
Even better would just be an automatic drift if you try to turn that quickly, kinda like what The Isle has, but that's more complex technically so I doubt it's feasible
But overall I'm kinda iffy on it, feels like it's making Pachy less special and unique, and I worry that it would be too strong and difficult to deal with.

ok so you are objectively wrong because I just went through years of patch notes and there was not a single Carno nerf whatsoever
the only thing is giving it the weakzone, but that was a looong time ago and while people do still occasionally complain about it I think Carno is performing perfectly fine still and I don't think it is in any real need of buffs
100% I think if he gets a drift I think it should be balanced with having a longer cooldown than pachy and/or having higher stamina cost so it's not easily spammable and more of a commitment for the Carno
carno doesnt need drift cuz "s" turn is good enought
i wouldn't mind adding it. the ability would purely be for mobility, it wouldn't be an attack like with pachy since that's kind of pachy's thing.
I think if it’s added it should come at a little more of a cost and/or jump turning should be less effective
i dont want to be the fun police but i wouldnt really like a drift at all on carno
i dont think carnos movement needs tampering with, carnos quite balanced and i enjoy his movement playing as it and versing against it. dont rlly want it messed up and having to rebalance carnos stats just for a drift
itd be maybe cool though if carno had different animations for turning sharp at high speeds though

Dont want carno to get Cera’d and be put in stat hell for no reason especially cus he is perfectly fine
gets a drift but in turn gets its health and damage nerfed because it became super over powered
i don't see how it'd be super OP just because you can go round a corner a little better. it wouldn't be sliding all over the place like Pachy does.
Idk increasing carnos ability to disengage and re-engage may push it over the edge
I at least think if it gets a slide, jump turning should be nerfed

might not be thr buiser that gets the most kills but gahdamn does he rack up the most dmg
the only thing id change is removed critzone since it barely matters anyway

especially when you consider the fact carno can run into flat walls to position itself easier for a better angle to attack from
think pachy in the right hands can secure more kills (kill stealing)
and cera rn is just busted mfs out here getting 40 kills
pachy is great following up on a teammate carno
not busted just finally able to do what the other 2 could do
cera is definitely overtuned rn
can do what the other two can but much easier
needs a slight nerf
i have no problems with him at the moment issue is people engaging it like nutters and giving it health
its like carno where if it makes a mistake it probably will be shredded, if its good its gonna be very tanky and scary
cera is a lot more forgiving than carno if you make a mistake
not nearly as squishy
ive been playing like an idiot sometimes and yet still get 20 kills
Cerato do be feeling like a direct upgrade from carno rn
Cera is getting a lot of free kills thanks to the backpedal nerf, lots of people don't have good human movement and become easy cera food.
Other than that i find cera still struggles in breaking through actually good teams since it needs a kill to not be squishy. Pachy and carno are better in that regard.

Because a drift is just... Turning better
So you wouldn't have to force yourself into a wall to reposition
but i will probably be able to drift on the wall to get an even better turn like i do with pachy in close fights and head swipe the hell out of them

wall turnings a universal thing all dino classes benefit from and everyone does it at this point i just consider it normal
spino and carno being the ones that benefit the most
the number of people who willingly use map exploits.... no shame, the lot of them
if they give it a slide (that does no damage) and nerf the jump turning it just seems pointless to do except making jump turning look a little prettier. in the end its the same thing

using terrain to stop people ass riding you isnt really exploitive anyway thats just smart. humans cant no clip
people r gonna complain in here that the carno drift does no damage. new players r going to play it like it does damage. just seems less intuitive
