An increased spread and damage falloff would be a nice way to keep mando in the close to mid range position he's supposed to be in, and make the task of mowing down things from far away, specially flyers, much harder.
The increased reload time also gives the mando an incentive to actually use his shots wisely, but of course since he'll always be bound to miss a few bullets with the higher spread, I believe giving him back 50 bullets per magazine could compensate this pretty well.

Yeah the rifles with scopes should deal more ranged damage than the one that doesnt
the carbine especially is wayyyyy too good over range

Its not that great at range other than for aiming down sights
Ig but carbine feels like the last of mandos primaries that should be nerfed
Think ar just needs a dmg falloff nerf and perhaps a spread bit wider
Gutting the reload speed as well just to give it ten more bullets seems unneeded since having less bullets also already incentivizes mandos to use their shots wisely
Its the whole reason why it went from 50 to 40 just a couple patches ago
we arent giving him 10 more bullets cuz of increased reload time, but cuz of the bigger spread
Commandos with good aim are genuinely terrifying at medium to long range because the bullet spread is so minimal, especially to flyers where he can just laser them out of the sky if he crouches and aims well enough. Would be nice if his spread would increase significantly as he held down fire just so he isn't so oppressive.

not the 50 bullets/magazine he can already deal lots of dmg with his 40
on the topic of commando, idk if it’s a hot take but ideally i’d like to see medkits given to another class (ie scientist with her hipfire crit nerfs)
with a class like mando you’ll be using those medkits on yourself more than anything
he can keep the ammo kits tho
Yea having the range be reduced a bit would be nice along with a slight increase to bullet spread so pressing crouch doesnt turn you into sci 2.0 but 50 shot AR just bullies bruisers and tyrants way too hard
medkits are so so strong. i know cryo is going to be able to melt them in the future but i think they also should not be stackable
the 10 more bullets exist just so he cant be punished super bad by those shots that r simply not gonna hit cuz of the spread.
i forgot to include this so mb but the increased reload time makes it so he cant cause a shit ton of dmg to everything in a matters of seconds, and it gives the dinos plenty of time to kill mando for bein unable to manage his spread and shots.
