The lack of precision and amount of accidental double jumps and dashes I make are unreal, honestly it's killed my drive to play this game long ago despite having the itch every so often to return. It's wack as fuck that there's no disable tap jump with the 12 people who still play this game, but that's beside the point..
Is there a way to adjust joystick range on this mfer like you can with N64 controllers?

I assume you mean the 12 people that would still play with you. Either way apparently this is a flaw with the xinput mode of nrage because it makes the stick max range 127 instead of the actual n64 range which actually fucks with inputs beyond just being too sensitive. There's a tool called xinput plus that apparently modifies xinput inputs before sending them to windows and you can set output scale to 70% to get much closer to n64 values. Other than that idk cuz microsoft is fucking stupid and made joystick sensitivity settings exclusive to expensive xbox controllers.

This plugin changes the scale the deadzones to make it harder to tapjump? I personally like doing tilts and button jumps a lot. I understand that stick jumps are the meta and I’ve been trying to adapt but wanting to just casually mess about, is there a plugin that can map the tap jump to a trigger or give the l-stick a vertical deadzone? It would absolutely mean the world

this is the main reason we need to switch the p64kSE back to a default non-raw setup using the raphnetraw_no_mem_pak plugin. Then all of the old input plugins like jabo 1.4, 1.61, nrage 1.6.1, etc that allow you to adjust range on xbox pad would work online. Essentially the Mario Kart 64 online community config.

that being said there will inevitably be a 2.0.1 at some point and it should and prob will be swapped then

there is also the pj64-wiiu-gcn plugin I forgot about. It works with the non raw configs too.
