i'm looking for a mmorpg with a lot of group content (preference for instanced dungeons/raids). Groups of at least 4 please. Content for 10+ players at once is badass.
I intend to be fully f2p, but i don't mind b2p and p2p (subscription).
I love repetitive stuff, doing the same dungeons thousands of times is my passion.
I like pvp, but it won't be my focus probably.
I never play with classes that use sword, bow, guns, shield, i like magic classes! they can even be melee if they look cool. I hate elementalists tho.
My playtime will vary a lot, something between 1h and 10h daily lol.
Action gameplay is my favorite, but I don't mind tab-target. I like turn-based a lot, but dofus current flash-client has insane performance issues and wakfu is bad.
I dislike having to play with alts, but i used to play tree of savior with 28 chars and did dailies with all of them everyday kek, the rewards were too good to pass up. Sadly ToS is basically dead with 200 people online.
I've looked into, but never played:
BDO: nice classes, nice gameplay, no group content? :c
FFXIV: expensive, classes sound meh, but pictomancer in the next expansion looks cool.
Lost Ark: people say its too time consuming and heavy p2w, also alt-char heavy.
New World: i hate not having classes and the gear deciding the skills
Path of Exile: confusing, the classes look meh? i dont like elementalist and summoners are rarely decently balanced in mmorpgs.
I think my favorite aspect of mmorpgs is the community, even if the game is not that good, the community can still make it thrive c:

bdo has one dungeon and most of your pve gameplay is open world grinding monsters or life skilling.
lost ark has pve group content much like wow and ff14 but the endgame community is very much gatekept. just go to the lost ark subreddit and see the complaints about it over there.
new world is frequently getting updates and they added some group pve stuff to do last i hear but not certain since i dont play it.
path of exile is only confusing in the eyes of the observer. once you start playing it you'll get the hang of that huge board where you put your points into. it's not an mmorpg though pretty much the only time you'll meet and be able to chat with people is in the towns/hubs.
you can have a look at guild wars 2, for a new player you have some dungeons (abandoned by devs), fractals (the new dungeons), raids (abandoned), and strikes (kinda like raids or sometimes just a straight up boss fight)... but yeah the endgame content is basically drip fed
wow and ff14 are really the only choices if you want a hugely populated pve mmorpg that is consistently updated with new dungeons and raids every 4 to 6 months
a subscription based (p2p) monetization model means the developer/studio wont have to rely on p2w/gacha/predatory monetization and ensures a steady stream of income for the game at a low monthly cost (on the average) to the player. this translates to better quality of life features that are free and consistent content updates and expansion releases
and costumes and cosmetics that you can get for "free" by just playing the game instead of spending real money on it

warframe has content you can do as a group but most can really be done easily solo
