Hello conductors, welcome to my Charlotte guide/showcase. I am an avid Charlotte user that has used Charlotte intensively, testing her to the current limits of the game (I.e, killing ms gold in sub 2 minutes.) Unless you are facing fetter and curse bosses, fights shouldn't last 30s to 40s even if they are waves. If in calculation, bosses with -60% physical dmg received then it shouldn't reach 2 mins.
Okay, I got your expectations high now, right? Well, I will be bursting your bubble as you will need a minimum of A2 Charlotte to make her work, A4 Charlotte to get quick kills against bosses, and A5 Charlotte to fully unleash her potential.
Alright, time to start the Guide/Showcase. First things first, Charlotte is a Physical Damage dealer that uses Slash to boost her damage further. She is a burst damage dealer that excels in ending fights in the 2nd Infernal Crescent if A4. Her kit mainly revolves around boosting her Atk and Slash damage. The kit alone gives her 30% final damage, 6 doom crescent cards after three infernal crescent usage, 25% heals for survivability, and her awakening.
Second things second, Awakening. Charlotte below A2 is barely usable, only at A2 will she be usable as A2 allows her to recover her Doom Crescent cards in order to fuel her Infernal Crescent (Leader skill/Ultimate) after using any colored card except red cards. At A4 her damage further balloons as it gives her an extra 150% extra Slash damage bonus.
Third thing, Charlotte is a cost hungry unit. You need a minimum of Four visceras, affixes like [Gain cost X upon Lead skill use], Arcana (Rare unit) for cost regen and pulling more cards, Stella for cost reduction and 7 extra cost at the start or Summer Shizu with [Gain Cost X after freezing an enemy] and her 0 cost purple card.
Now that we get the pros and cons of Charlotte, let's talk about Team Building.
