From there, ensure that you have Battle mode enabled. Then, type whatever prompt you want or even upload a reference image for the image generation model to edit and hit enter.

Then you just have to get lucky to get the model by random chance since it's not directly accessible within direct chat.

The thing about nano-banana is that you can put characters in an entirely new scenario, but it will still keep the same art style that the character previously used. But sometimes it does change the art style of the character, but that's in rare situations.

It's mainly a mix of how understandable your prompt is, along with what the model ultimately decides to do with the image/prompt.
