That ⁠video-arena channel is getting quite chaotic... There are duels themselves, prompt posts, bot posts ("You've reached your daily video limit"), comments for each video, other random comments...

I could even imagine separate website (or part of lmarena), hidden behind Discord login, where I could just cast some votes for videos (pre-generated by other users), but it could have some fancy features:

• sort duels by oldest / latest / most votes / least votes / prompt rating (rated by users)
• show only images / only videos / only stuff where I didn't vote yet
• comment section for each duel
• some categories / tags (realism, people, product, cartoon...)
• personal leaderboard

So yeah, basically Artificial Analysis arena...

And also I have checked lmarena dm chat whenever I send new prompt in video-arena after it got generated I get notified in separate dm chat too and it has commands option but when I try to send commands it wasn't working. It couldn't able to send commands.

I would say from 24hr to 12hr or 14hrs might be better rather increasing the 5 generation reducing the time I think so. so I might suggest this

Sometimes for few video generations wasn't getting 5 votes as many of them were trying those generation for few were missing to complete 5 votes, so how about giving a minimum time even after that time if a video generated prompt wasn't completed 5 votes will automatically get those model names. • "It's a tie" button
• You can't send another prompt unless you rated your last one
• video-arena ONLY for specific language (I've seen a lot of Arabic, Chinese, Russian prompts - multilingual data are surely useful, but I am too lazy to translate each such prompt; maybe let people vote for specific languages to see whether there is interest)
• if your videos get a lot of votes, you gain some additional generations (to support creative prompts)

I think this form of seeing others' creation has high potential for more voting, not just 2. Video creation takes a lot of compute. (But not at the expense of the original prompter missing out!)
And also the video creator knows what they had in mind so their vote should count more.

I think the best solution is not just to reveal models after 2 votes. Reveal only after the propmt creator votes. Much more people can vote before them. If prompter voted first then yes 2 votes to reveal is ok. So we get "at least 2 votes to reveal". The prompters' vote should have more weight, like 2 or even 3.

Not all video models have audio support. Since it's battle mode (two random anonymous models head-to-head) you won't be able to select specific models meaning it's going to be random if you get sound or not.

I have a few suggestions for the LMArena bot:

1. This has been said many times, but there should be a requirement that you have to vote on your own generated video before you can generate any more videos.
2. I personally think this is a very good idea: Reduce the allowed video generations per day to 5 BUT add the ability to gain extra votes per day, I personally think the right amount is 5 votes per video, up to 5 extra votes per day. Make it so votes on their own videos do not count. I think this is a good incentive so people will vote on other people's videos if they want to make more. Also makes the extra compute worth it as more people will be seeing the videos people have generated.
3. Add a command to the bot that allows the user to:
   a. Check how many videos the user has generated and has left for the day.
   b. Check how many votes the user has cast for the day.
   c. Check to see when their daily generations replenish (I think it's 24h after first generation for the day)
   d. Check lifetime generations.
   e. Check lifetime votes cast.
   Maybe make this into a nice card image like other Discord bots and allow other people to see it.
4. Addendum for No. 2: Add a ranking system where your rank increases by 1 for every 100 votes you cast. Each new rank level gives you one extra daily generation. Also gives the user another incentive to check out other people's generations and vote on them.
5. Show the models for all generations older than 24h.

Also please disable video gen outside of the three video arena channels, all the other channels are all getting flooded with videos now

I generally think as fast as the chat moves, if it doesn't get a vote from anyone other than the original poster in the first 1-3 mins, it probably never will.

I also think a problem is the pages long prompts that some people use make results buried immediately.

Where only the bot can type in the results area and it just shows results. If it had a long prompt the bot reduces it down to the first sentence and you can click it to see the whole prompt used or something.

This way we could see a nice clean list of results to view and vote on.

Gotcha, so it's not a bug. It's going to be random if your video has sound or not.

Since not all video models have sound support, and it's random which models you're sampled, it's then random if you get soundor not.
