ok, I fine tuned my idea. Here's how it works now.

Once the new leaderboard scores have been calculated, instead of publishing them to the website for all people to see simultaneously, do a randomized staggered rollout for registered users.

Let's say you have 1000 users and have a 1 hour randomized rollout. So you chop the hour up into 1000 segments (3.6 seconds each). So every 3.6 seconds, you "unlock" the updated leaderboard for a random user. You keep doing this until the hour is up, and publish the full results for all to see once the hour is up.

What does this accomplish? It means that whoever gets the results first can profit highly on polymarket. They have exclusive information. The lucky selected user (or whomever heads to polymarket first) would essentially take much of the money for themselves, leaving little for those who "correctly" predicted the results (prior to the randomized rollout).

This greatly discourages anyone from placing a bet on leaderboard results. This removes a huge incentive to manipulate leaderboard results. There are no legal issues here - it is simply revealing results randomly.

and arena.ai would never advertise it as a feature to combat polymarket inspired manipulation, but instead as a feature to encourage people to register.
